ADHD Testing

ADHD Testing & Comprehensive Evaluation

At The Willow Wellness, our psychiatric nurse practitioners conduct thorough, evidence-based evaluations for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children, adolescents, and adults. Our goal is to understand your unique experience — not just label symptoms — and to develop a clear, personalized plan for ongoing treatment and support.

What to expect:
Our ADHD evaluation is comprehensive and collaborative, designed to explore both current concerns and past experiences. During your assessment, our clinicians will:

  • Conduct an in-depth review of your medical, developmental, educational, and psychosocial history.

  • Explore past and present symptoms related to focus, impulsivity, organization, and daily functioning.

  • Consider how your symptoms impact work, school, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.

  • Screen for other conditions that can mimic or occur alongside ADHD, such as mood, anxiety, or sleep disorders.

Evidence-Based Assessment

We use validated and evidence-based clinical tools and structured interviews to gather a full picture of your cognitive and behavioral patterns. Our practitioners take time to integrate your history, observations, and questionnaire results to ensure an accurate diagnosis.

When appropriate, we can incorporate a limited set of neuropsychological based tests to clarify attention or executive functioning concerns. If further testing is needed, we can provide a referral for comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation based off our assessment.

Clear Results & Next Steps

Following your evaluation, you’ll receive:

  • A clinical summary explaining whether your symptoms meet diagnostic criteria for ADHD.

  • A personalized treatment plan outlining evidence-based recommendations for therapy, lifestyle support, and — if indicated — medication management.

  • Referrals or follow-up care with trusted providers if additional assessment or support is recommended.

Our Approach
We believe that understanding your mind is the first step toward thriving. Our ADHD evaluations are thoughtful, compassionate, and rooted in science — helping you gain clarity, confidence, and a path forward.
