ADHD Testing

ADHD Testing & Comprehensive Evaluation

At Willow Wellness, we provide comprehensive ADHD testing for children, adolescents, and adults using a thoughtful combination of clinical expertise and technology-based, evidence-driven assessment tools. Our evaluations are designed to accurately assess ADHD symptoms while gaining a deeper understanding of how attention, focus, and executive functioning impact daily life.

Our goal is not just diagnosis — but clarity. We take a careful, individualized approach to ensure each person receives an accurate assessment and a clear path forward.

Our Evaluation Process

Our ADHD assessments are collaborative, thorough, and developmentally informed. During your evaluation, our providers will:

  • Conduct a detailed review of medical, developmental, educational, and psychosocial history

  • Explore current and lifelong symptoms related to attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, organization, and executive functioning

  • Assess how symptoms impact school, work, relationships, and emotional wellbeing

  • Screen for co-occurring or alternative conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep disorders, or learning differences

This comprehensive clinical foundation allows us to understand the full context of each individual’s experience.

Evidence-Based ADHD Testing

We integrate validated clinical interviews, structured rating scales, and evidence-based computerized CPT (Continuous Performance Test) technology to objectively assess attention, impulse control, and response patterns. These tools support diagnostic accuracy while complementing clinical judgment and real-world functioning.

When appropriate, a limited set of neuropsychological-based measures may be used to further clarify attention or executive functioning concerns. If findings suggest the need for more extensive evaluation, we will refer out for a full neuropsychological assessment based on our clinical findings

Results & Next Steps

Following your evaluation, you will receive:

  • A clear clinical summary outlining whether diagnostic criteria for ADHD are met

  • A personalized, evidence-based treatment plan, which may include therapy, lifestyle supports, academic or workplace strategies, and — when appropriate — medication management

  • Referrals and coordinated care if additional testing or specialized support is recommended

Why Accurate ADHD Diagnosis Matters — Especially Today

Modern life places constant demands on attention. Increased screen time, frequent phone notifications, remote work and learning, and ongoing multitasking have made difficulties with focus more visible than ever. As a result, many individuals are questioning whether their struggles may be ADHD — or something else entirely.

Symptoms such as distractibility, forgetfulness, mental fatigue, and difficulty staying organized can stem from many causes, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep disruption, or burnout. Without a careful and evidence-based evaluation, individuals risk misdiagnosis, missed conditions, or treatment plans that don’t address the true source of concern.

At The Willow Wellness, we take time to understand where symptoms are coming from, how long they’ve been present, and how they affect daily functioning. By combining clinical expertise with objective, technology-based testing, we help distinguish true ADHD from attention challenges influenced by environment, lifestyle, or co-occurring conditions. Accurate diagnosis matters — because it leads to appropriate care, informed treatment decisions, and a clearer understanding of how to move forward with confidence.
