William is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and seasoned healthcare leader, committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care with compassion and integrity. He brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, administrative leadership, and research experience to his role at Willow Wellness.
Throughout his career, William has held positions such as House Supervisor, Service Line Director (Cardiovascular & Neurosciences), and Associate Chief Nursing Officer—roles in which he led program development, improved care quality, and optimized operational outcomes. His approach is rooted in cultural humility, therapeutic rapport, and integrating behavioral health research into everyday practice.
William earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler, a BSN from Georgetown University, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. In his early career, he contributed to NIH-funded research at Brown Medical School and Emory University, with work published in peer-reviewed journals.
Prior to his healthcare trajectory, William played professionally in the Toronto Blue Jays organization—a background that instilled discipline, resilience, and a team-oriented mindset. He also maintains certifications in CCRN, ACLS, and BLS, and is an active member of honor societies including Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Chi, and Beta Gamma Sigma.
